Beltline Rail Poll (Sept 2026)

Between September 18th and September 21st, 2026, the Center for Strategic Politics conducted an English-language survey of 500 likely voters in Atlanta using live phones to collect responses. Respondents outside the sampled population were screened by voter file match. The sample was weighted to be representative of likely Atlanta voters by age, race, and gender. The margin of error is ±4.38%. This survey was commissioned by Samson for Georgia.

Atlanta voters are strongly in favor of Beltline Rail, a proposal to build 22 miles of light rail on the Atlanta Beltline alongside existing pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.

This support is found almost evenly across every demographic group polled.

The full poll, including crosstabs, is available here.
